Search for The Arcanum - Spy Route

“You know Magni, I can’t shake the feeling that something bad will happen in Solaris. Maybe we should skip it and go straight to Seawynne” Said Ra’am on the road to Solaris “Ra’am” began Magni “We both know that you are just nervous and afraid of the big cities, but you are going to have to face your fear sometime. Especially if you want to go and study Lyss”. Ra’am heard this before from him but it was true. He has been chasing storm for quite some time and even though he was sure he got something from that lightning when he first met Magni he hasn’t managed to conjure anything but disappointed feelings until now. “I guess you are right” said Ra’am, admitting defeat “So what is the plan when we hit Solaris?” Magni took some time to organize his words before saying “I will go search for work as a hunter so we can have more money to go to Azamarin while you can go to ask people in the city” Ra’am nodded “Yeah, seems fair”.

It wasn’t long after the two arrived in Solaris that they split up, each one going over to different places. Whilst Magni ventured to the food market to see if he can find hunters selling their wares that may need assistance or farmers with a need for pest removal, Ra’am ventured to the town centre to find travellers selling and buying wares.
And while he didn’t know what was going on with Magni, he definitely was not having fun. While it was not his first time on a boat, the narrow ones in the canals swayed around making him a bit sick. Which really didn’t help his anxiety; travelling between boat and boat, and too many shining colours reflecting sun into them wherever he went, blinding him for a glance.
But eventually, he set hoof on the sturdy earth of the town square. And after a bit of observation from afar Ra’am slowly started to walk into the market..

A couple hours later Ra’am was sitting on a chair somewhere in central Solaris eating a sandwich which he bought from a vendor around the market. Sadly the asking around didn’t bring much help. At first it was hard just going around, stopping workers and shoppers in the middle of their day already meant he was never off to a great start, and then to ask around about a group mysterious and powerful forgers and kidnappings didn’t help either. But slowly he began to find his groove; using people's anger against the Arcanum for the memory forgetting event, and adding kidnapping of innocent Woolyne on top of that helped touch the hearts of those questioned by Ra’am and help him. But although some Woolynes had some real passion to find the kidnapped Woolyne and put an end to the Arcanum’s mysterious experiments, none had any real information to give. Just the stuff of legends or what everybody knows, or at least think they know in theory. “Strong Forgers” sums it up nicely. Although some claim their mysterious neighbour is one or that they once saw caped Woolynes walking in the fields at night, surrounded by the faint glow of the presence of strong Lyss. No real lead or anything bummed out Ra’am, that by now has finished his food and was thinking on what to do next. It was starting to get dark and that's when he realized he didn’t set a meeting spot with Magni!
Ra’am started to get anxious again, but quickly got ahold of himself and calmed down. If there is one thing that this day has taught him so far is that he shouldn’t be afraid of the city. Soon he got up and started asking around again, the passing time of day bringing new wind and Woolynes that have come out for evening activities. Once again he began asking around for the missing duchess and the group of mysterious forgers.

And before long it was nighttime, and Ra’am, who hadn’t had dinner yet was getting quite hungry. And he hadn’t seen or heard from Magni yet either. So after a bit of more resting and thinking, he formatted another strategy, adding a question about Magni and his whereabouts to each encounter. And so quickly, and unlike the Arcanum and the Duchess he began to get results about the gray Woolyne bowman who joined a group of gatherers as a helper for the day, and as luck would have it he found the wife of one of the gatherers, going to where the gatherers sell their loot before the next day to meet her husband. So he joined his now guide on an adventure through a couple of boat routes, drifting slowly along the water until they reached a warehouse. And there, among the crates and boxes stood none other then Magni! Talking to the workers around him. “Hey! Magni!” Ra’am gave him a shout as soon as he thought Magni would be able to hear him. Magni’s ears perked up and turned around to see Ra’am waving. As soon as Ra’am landed Magni ran to him “I thought I will have to go the entire night searching for you!” announced Magni “Yeah, same here!” Replied Ra’am and they both shared a laugh “So, now we found each other, do you have an idea where we can find an inn to stay the night?” Ra’am said “give me a minute” Magni said and ran back to the workers. After a bit of talking and pointing Magni came back “They there is a relatively cheap one a couple blocks that way” He pointed in a general direction. And they started walking to a nearby taxi boat “So, any idea where the Arcanum or Duchess are?” Magni began “Sadly no. The only information I found today was what we already know about the legends of the mysterious group” Magni smiled “Well you will have more opportunity, they said they will need more help the next couple of days until another worker recovers”. They got into a taxi boat “Welp, maybe tomorrow I will find a lead” Ra’am said, “Yeah, hopefully tomorrow”.
